New Delhi, Trichy-based author Jaisri Raju Sriram launched her poetry anthology Stree Verses at the 5th Solstice Annual Literary Conference, held at the C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium, India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, on August 9.

Published by Ukiyoto Publishing in collaboration with Pachyderm Tales, Stree Verses explores the many dimensions of womanhood, Paavai Nombu, Andals’ Thiruppavai and Manikkavasagar’s Thiruvempavai through poetry and reflective writing. The collection gives voice to women’s strength, resilience, vulnerability, dreams and identity, drawing from deeply personal experiences and reflections.

The book was creatively developed by Pachyderm Tales, which provided editorial guidance, creative mentoring and literary development, while Ukiyoto Publishing brought the work to readers through its global publishing platform.

The 5th Solstice Annual Literary Conference brought together authors, publishers, educators, artists and literature enthusiasts from across India. The day-long event featured literary discussions, talk shows, book launches, felicitation of children’s award winners, networking sessions and publishing showcases.

The launch of Stree Verses was one of the highlights of the conference, celebrating both Jaisri Raju Sriram’s literary contribution and the collaborative efforts of Ukiyoto Publishing and Pachyderm Tales to promote contemporary literary voices.

The Trichy-based author’s work has brought recognition to the city’s growing literary community, with Stree Verses offering a distinctive perspective on womanhood and contemporary life.
