In the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and adjoining South-East India, countless small and medium sized firms, educational institutions, health care organizations, and start-ups faced a common issue. While the technology behemoths such as Salesforce, Zoho and HubSpot were all-powerful in offering software packages to the companies, the per-seat based pricing model of subscriptions to their services made them too expensive for growing firms in Tier-2 or Tier-3 cities.
