Three karate athletes from Bolpur Painstaking Karate Group in Bolpur, Birbhum, West Bengal will represent India at the Bharat–Nepal Open International Karate Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Pokhara, Nepal from May 9 to May 13.
The athletes representing India are Himadri Kumar Roy Sarkar, Chongtham Pari Singh, and Kamran Zahin Aziz. They will compete against karate practitioners from different countries at the international championship.
The athletes train under the guidance of Chief Instructor and Coach Ram Kishore Ganguly. Their participation in the international championship is a proud moment for Bolpur and the Birbhum district.
The championship is expected to bring together karate athletes from multiple regions, promoting sportsmanship and international martial arts competition.
