21 May 2026, Dehradun, Uttarakhand
The Mana Pass Challenge 2026, originally scheduled for 10 June 2026, has been officially rescheduled to 20 June 2026 following operational assessment and prevailing snow conditions affecting accessibility towards Mana Pass in the Uttarakhand Himalayas.
Organisers stated that the revised timeline is intended to support improved route accessibility, safer high-altitude execution, enhanced acclimatization planning, and stronger operational preparedness in the extreme altitude environment approaching 5,600 meters.
Unlike conventional endurance events, the Mana Pass Challenge operates in one of India’s most sensitive and restricted Himalayan corridors, where terrain, snow conditions, and mountain accessibility play a critical role in operational execution.
The event is part of the “Summit or Surrender” Himalayan Race Series by Sarmang Society — the organising team behind the Ladakh Umlingla Challenge conducted at approximately 5,799 meters.
The Founding Edition of Mana Pass Challenge will now take place on 20 June 2026 in the Mana–Badrinath region of Uttarakhand.
