For two decades, I lived and breathed a single mission: perfection before release.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, I was the ultimate “gatekeeper.” My job was to test software, scrutinize documentation for absolute correctness, and certify products. If it didn’t meet the highest standards, it didn’t get past me to the customer. I loved being the defender of quality.

But then came the conversation that changed everything.

The Turning Point: Letting Go to Grow
One afternoon, my boss threw a massive curveball. He asked me to completely step away from my QA profile—the comfort zone I had built over 20 years—and pivot entirely into Cybersecurity to manage critical research & operations.

To say it was a radical shift is an understatement. I was staring down a steep learning curve in a fast-evolving landscape. But where others might have seen a risk, I saw a profound opportunity to upskill, reinvent myself, and dive headfirst into one of the most critical domains of modern technology.

The New Reality: Impact Beyond the Code
Transitioning into cybersecurity wasn’t easy, but the rewards have been immense. Today, my definition of “protection” has evolved.

Instead of just checking code for bugs, I am on the front lines protecting our customers from sophisticated, zero-day cyberattacks. Every day, I get to pull back the curtain on the sheer magnitude of modern cyber threats. By sharing these realities, I help individuals and businesses understand that cyber hygiene isn’t just an IT checklist—it is a vital lifestyle change required to stay safe in our hyper-connected world.

My Mission: Protecting Our Digital Frontier
Technology is evolving faster than ever, and with its incredible benefits come massive perils. My mission is simple: to educate and protect.

I want to reach as many people as possible to raise awareness about how rapidly evolving technologies pose potent risks to our data, our hard-earned money, and our hard-won reputations. Beyond individual awareness, I am driven to protect our nation’s people and critical infrastructure from the growing threats of cyber fraud and cross-border hacktivism.

Our online identities and digital presence are worth fighting for. Twenty years ago, I protected the product. Today, I protect the people.
