Some dreams are not created in comfort; they are born on quiet roads where a sensitive heart refuses to ignore the pain of others. Legend Public School is one such dream.
My father, Mr. Ajay Singh, served as a Senior Manager in Shipping and Operations at Reliance Industries, Hazira. Every day he travelled to work on a bicycle. Along that journey, he would see children playing in the mud beside the road children full of life, yet far away from classrooms, books, and opportunity. Those moments stayed with him and slowly became a question that changed our destiny: Why should education depend on money?
From that question, Legend Public School was born not as a business, but as an act of service. Here, no child is denied education because of donation or financial hardship. Parents are supported with dignity, the most underprivileged children are taught free of cost, and along with education we strive to give confidence, discipline, and hope.
My sister Preeti and I were blessed to study at Reliance Foundation School in Surat, where we experienced excellence, values, and the true power of learning. What we received there was not just schooling, but a vision. Legend Public School is our humble effort to bring that same spirit of opportunity to children who may otherwise never receive it.
We believe greatness is never inherited. The next Tata, the next Tendulkar, or the next Bachchan may rise not from famous homes, but from small streets, rural families, and ordinary classrooms if someone simply gives them a chance.
Legend Public School is more than a school. It is my father’s dream still walking beside us, a quiet promise that talent should never be limited by poverty. And if even one child discovers hope within these walls, then every mile of that bicycle journey was meaningful because educating one child does not change just a life, it changes the future.
