I Ubaid Khaliq At 24, do not see myself merely as a young entrepreneur. I see myself as the fourth generation of a business legacy built on performance, resilience, and global ambition. I entered the world of business at 18, but the foundation I stand on was laid decades earlier — through discipline, scale, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence.

Our journey began with New India Metal Industries in 1960s , which in between 1987 and 1990 earned three consecutive State Awards for Highest Export Performance across Delhi. At that time, the company was not simply participating in the market — it was leading it. Those awards symbolized dominance, consistency, and operational strength in a highly competitive export ecosystem.

In 1993, my father expanded this legacy by launching New India Metal Exports, further strengthening our global footprint. Under his leadership, the company refined its systems, enhanced quality benchmarks, and deepened relationships across international markets. The principles were clear: precision in execution, discipline in operations, and credibility in commitments.

When I formally entered the business at 18, I understood that I was not starting from zero — I was stepping into responsibility. Over the past six years, I have focused on strategic expansion, modernization, and brand positioning. During this time, I launched New India Exports International for contemporary markets and introduced our premium luxury brand, GOLDEN HOMES, designed for the high-end global décor segment.

The past six years have been among the most challenging periods in modern global trade. The Ukraine war disrupted European economies and buyer sentiment. Trade tensions and tariff structures impacted the United States, the world’s largest consumer market. Instability in the Gulf region further added to uncertainty in logistics and international transactions. Alongside these geopolitical tensions, volatile metal prices created continuous cost pressures.

But true leadership is tested in instability.

Rather than retreat, we recalibrated. We diversified markets, restructured supply chains, negotiated smarter long-term contracts, and strengthened vendor ecosystems. We sharpened forecasting mechanisms to manage raw material volatility. We reinforced quality controls to ensure that global disruptions never compromised our standards. These challenges did not slow our growth — they refined our strategy.

Our companies specialize in handcrafted metal décor, spiritual products, and premium home collections. From architectural vases and designer planters to singing bowls and refined interior accents, our portfolio reflects the fusion of Indian craftsmanship with global aesthetics. Yet product range alone does not define our strength. Execution does.

We are structured, system-driven, and performance-focused. Every order is managed with precision — from sampling to shipment. Every commitment is documented, tracked, and delivered. International buyers choose partners who provide stability in uncertain times, and that is where we have built our authority.

From the beginning, we were clear about one principle: we will never be just another supplier in the market. We do not compete merely on price. We compete on consistency. When customers choose us, they choose reliability that stands the test of time. They choose quality that remains uncompromised across volumes. They choose a partner, not a vendor.

The launch of GOLDEN HOMES marks our strategic move into the luxury space. This brand is not about mass production — it is about positioning. With superior materials, refined finishes, and exclusive designs, GOLDEN HOMES represents our ambition to elevate Indian craftsmanship into global premium segments. It reflects our belief that Indian manufacturing can compete at the highest levels of sophistication and design.

As a fourth-generation entrepreneur, my role is dual — to preserve legacy and to engineer scale. I carry forward decades of credibility while building future-ready systems for global expansion. My six-year journey has been shaped by real-world trade wars, geopolitical instability, commodity fluctuations, and evolving consumer expectations. These experiences have accelerated my maturity as a business leader.

Our vision is clear and uncompromising: to strengthen our presence across Europe, the United States, and emerging markets, to expand production capabilities, and to build brands that command respect internationally.

Through this feature on Dailyhunt, I share not just our story, but our philosophy — markets fluctuate, economies shift, and global tensions arise. But institutions built on discipline, strategic foresight, and relentless execution continue to grow.

Four generations built this foundation. My responsibility is to take it further — with scale, authority, and global dominance.
