My name is Shoaib Akthar, and I am the founder of Mento Tech, an EdTech initiative with a mission to make quality education accessible, practical, and career-focused for every student.
Coming from a background where I observed the gaps in traditional education, I realized that many students struggle not because they lack talent, but because they lack the right guidance, skills, and exposure. This realization became the foundation of my journey.
Mento Tech was not started with big investments or a large team. It started with a vision — to build a platform that supports students from End-to-end Education Solutions, helping them not just study, but grow, think, and succeed in real life.
Initially, I focused on understanding students’ real problems — confusion after 10th class, lack of career clarity, fear of competitive exams and absence of practical skills. Based on this, Mento Tech began offering bridge courses, mentorship, and skill-based learning programs.
As a solo founder, the journey hasn’t been easy. There were moments of self-doubt, lack of resources, and uncertainty. But what kept me moving forward was the belief that every student deserves a better learning experience.
Today, Mento Tech is evolving with a clear focus:
- Supporting All Educational aspirants with structured learning
- Helping students transition smoothly
- Introducing entrepreneurship awareness from an early stage
- Building job-ready skills alongside academics
My goal is not just to create another EdTech platform, but to build a student-first ecosystem where learning is meaningful, engaging, and future-ready.
This is just the beginning of my journey. I am continuously learning, improving, and working towards building a strong community of students, educators, and changemakers.
