It was 2019, and Yashwanth Nagati was doing what most 17-year-olds were not: fielding client calls, staying up late troubleshooting servers, and trying to figure out how to run a business with almost no money and no one to ask for advice. He had just started Yash Host from Ibrahimpatnam,a small town near Hyderabad and the early days were more trial and error than smooth operation. Some weeks were exciting. Others were just hard.
“I did not have a lot of resources when I started. But I knew what I wanted to build,” Yashwanth says. “I just had to stay patient and keep going.”
Seven years later, that patience has paid off in ways that are difficult to argue with. Yash Host now serves clients in Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Dubai, and the UK, offering web development, SEO and digital marketing, and web hosting all under one roof.
When Yashwanth started Yash Host in 2019, the plan was focused: build a reliable web hosting service for businesses in and around Hyderabad. It was a small, unglamorous corner of the tech industry, easy to overlook. But Yashwanth understood that without solid hosting, nothing else a business built online would hold up. He wanted to be the foundation.
The problems came quickly. Cash was always tight. Building credibility at 17 was genuinely difficult. Some clients did not take him seriously, and a few early conversations ended badly because of his age alone. He kept going anyway, partly because he had no other plan, and partly because he believed the service he was offering was good.
“There were moments where things felt uncertain. But stopping never felt like an option,” he says. “I was too focused on the next problem to think about quitting.”
As the client base grew, Yashwanth started noticing a pattern. Businesses that came to him for hosting would eventually ask if he knew a good web developer. Once they had a website, they would ask about SEO. Three separate needs meant three separate vendors, and those vendors rarely talked to each other. If a website redesign broke the SEO, or if the hosting company had no idea how the site was built, the client ended up in the middle, managing confusion that was not their fault.
Yashwanth decided to fix that. He added web development as a service, and then SEO and digital marketing. Not because he wanted to grow for the sake of it, but because the same businesses kept coming back with the same frustrations. His response was to just handle it all himself.
“A business should not have to explain its goals to three different agencies and hope they coordinate,” he says. “When everything is in one place, there is no finger-pointing. We own the result.”
That straightforward approach has become the core of what Yash Host offers. Clients in Hyderabad, Chennai, Dubai, Bangalore, and the UK all work with the same team. The person who manages the hosting knows how the website was built. The person doing SEO understands the hosting setup. That end-to-end visibility makes accountability cleaner and problems easier to catch before they become real issues.
Growth has not come from advertising campaigns or aggressive outreach. Most new clients arrive through referrals, business owners in one city passing the name along to someone in another. That kind of trust builds slowly, but it tends to stay.
At 24, Yashwanth is thinking about what the next chapter of Yash Host looks like. He wants to reach more businesses, both across India and in markets where Yash Host already has a foothold internationally. He is also thinking about how to scale the team without losing the hands-on quality that made clients trust the company in the first place.
“Every business needs a proper online presence. Most of them just do not have the time or the knowledge to figure out how to build one,” he says. “That is what we are here for.”
He started Yash Host at 17 with limited resources and a very clear idea of what good service should look like. Seven years later, the resources have grown and the company has changed shape, but the idea has not moved much. That, more than anything else, might be the reason clients keep coming back.
