KUMARGANJ, AYODHYA — Channeling deep scientific dedication into grassroots agricultural transformation, Ashutosh Yadav, a Ph.D. Research Scholar from the Department of Silviculture and Agroforestry at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUAT), Kumarganj, Ayodhya, has been honored with the prestigious Young Achiever Award.
The recognition was conferred during the National Conference on “Frontiers in Agroforestry and Horticultural Sciences: Integrating Innovation, Resilience, and Sustainability” (NCFAHS-2026), held from July 15–16, 2026, at the ICAR-Central Agroforestry Research Institute (CAFRI) in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
The two-day national event convened leading scientists, researchers, and policymakers from across the nation. Ashutosh was spotlighted for his outstanding contribution and recognition in the field of “Silvicultural and Agroforestry”, notably for his steadfast commitment to bridging the gap between laboratory innovations and real-world farming communities.
Driven by a profound enthusiasm to uplift local cultivators, Ashutosh has been actively working on actionable agroforestry solutions tailored for smallholder farmers. By championing tree-crop integration, climate-resilient farming systems, and sustainable land-use models, his work aims to help local farmers diversify their income, protect soil health, and combat climate vulnerabilities.Reflecting on this national milestone and future mission, Ashutosh Yadav shared:
