What happens when a technology entrepreneur refuses to define success by business alone?
For Joginder Rohilla, popularly known as Jogi, the answer has been a journey spanning technology, entrepreneurship, social impact, books, speaking and personal transformation. After more than two decades of working across countries and delivering over 250 technology projects across geographies and industries, Jogi is now building his next chapter in Dubai — with a vision that goes well beyond a single company.
At the heart of his entrepreneurial journey is ETechDreams Solutions, a technology company that has worked with startups, SMEs and large corporates across industries and geographies. From customized software development and web and mobile applications to digital transformation and technology consulting, ETechDreams helps organisations turn ideas and manual processes into practical digital solutions.
The company has also carried forward the idea of Rural IT — demonstrating that technology businesses do not necessarily have to be built only from large metropolitan centres. By creating opportunities and delivering technology work from rural India, Jogi has championed the idea that talent and technology can come from anywhere.
Over the years, the journey has evolved from delivering customized technology solutions for organisations to building scalable products of its own.
One such product is KNOK, among the early AI-powered residential property management platforms being introduced in the UAE. Designed to simplify visitor management, resident communication, emergency notifications, administration and everyday building operations, KNOK represents Jogi’s growing focus on building market-ready technology products from the UAE for wider markets.
Another emerging product is ETech CRM, a simple lead and sales management platform designed for solopreneurs and small businesses that still manage their leads through WhatsApp, spreadsheets and fragmented systems. Its core philosophy is straightforward: never miss a lead.
For Jogi, however, entrepreneurship has always been only one part of the story.
His connection with social impact began long before his current technology ventures. In 2007, he started a small initiative that later became Sanskriti – Let’s Be the CHANGE, with a simple belief that every child should have access to books. What started as a single free library eventually grew into more than 100 free libraries across India, reaching more than 50,000 students.
That belief has also found expression through his writing. Jogi is an author of multiple books, including The Art of Starting Up and @Dreams, reflecting his interest in entrepreneurship, dreams, ambition and taking action. His writing spans entrepreneurship, personal growth, fiction and poetry, with both books becoming Amazon #1 Bestsellers.
Today, that broader perspective has evolved into Next Level Life, Jogi’s platform for personal development, through which he conducts talks, seminars and workshops. Its philosophy is holistic: moving to the next level is not only about career or money, but also about health, relationships, purpose, personal growth and overall fulfilment.
That philosophy is also reflected in his personal life. A long-time runner, Jogi has completed a 42-kilometre full marathon, alongside numerous half marathons. He has also participated in events including the Dubai Marathon and Tata Mumbai Marathon. For him, running represents many of the same principles he brings to entrepreneurship and personal development — discipline, consistency, resilience and the willingness to keep moving forward.
His work has received recognition at both entrepreneurial and social-impact levels, including the UN SDG Goalkeeper recognition, being featured among the Top 10 Tech Entrepreneurs/Startups of 2020 by CIO Insider Magazine, Startup India recognition, a nomination for the India 500 Startup Awards, and being recognised as a Power Icon India 2023 by the India Today Group.
Now, Dubai represents an important new chapter.
With the UAE rapidly emerging as a global hub for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, Jogi sees Dubai not simply as a new geographical market, but as a platform from which to build the next generation of his entrepreneurial journey.
His ambition is deliberately broad: continue serving organisations through technology, build scalable products, create meaningful social impact, write books, speak to audiences and help people discover their own next level.
For Jogi, these are not separate identities. They are all part of the same journey — building businesses, creating impact and helping people move forward.
And perhaps that is what his idea of the “next level” ultimately means:
Not just achieving more. Becoming more — and creating something meaningful along the way.
