Investment marks an important milestone for the Assam-based smart public transportation technology company and its founder, Partha Protim Borah

Guwahati, Assam, India — GoFlow Assam, a technology-driven public transportation platform focused on bringing real-time mobility information to commuters across Assam, has announced a strategic investment of US$250,000 from a Singapore-based investor in exchange for a 20% equity stake in the company.

Based on the investment terms, the transaction implies a post-money valuation of US$1.25 million, with an implied pre-money valuation of US$1 million.

The investment represents an important milestone in GoFlow Assam’s development as it works toward building a unified digital platform for public transportation across the state.

Building a smarter transportation network

GoFlow Assam is being developed around a simple objective: make public transportation more predictable, transparent and accessible through technology.

The platform is designed to bring different forms of public transportation into a single digital ecosystem, allowing commuters to access information such as:

The US$250,000 investment represents 20% equity ownership.

US$250,000 ÷ 20% = US$1,250,000

The transaction therefore positions GoFlow Assam at an implied post-investment valuation of US$1.25 million.

The company says the capital will be directed toward technology development, product engineering, infrastructure, team expansion, transportation-network onboarding and initial market expansion.
