In that first month, I had just a single student. For the next four months, Geoid continued to operate with that one student alone.
In the early stages, I chose not to publicize my venture. I was aware that starting small often invites judgment, doubt, and negativity. Instead of seeking validation, I relied on two things — confidence and hope.
By March 1, 2025, the journey took a turning point. What began with one student grew to 80 students within four months. It was at this stage that we officially launched our Prelims-cum-Mains batch.
From the beginning, affordability has been at the core of Geoid’s mission. I set the fee at just ₹500 per month, recognizing the financial challenges faced by aspirants from middle and lower-middle-class backgrounds. My belief has always been clear: quality UPSC coaching should be accessible to every deserving student, regardless of their financial situation.
During the initial phase, one person who stood by me was Nazrin Nazar. She supported me financially by enrolling in my Geography Mapping classes and said something I will always remember:
“Abhijith, I’m joining your mapping class — this will surely become a success.”
Our faculty team was built with individuals from Fortune IAS, the institute where I had previously studied. I am grateful to have had the support of dedicated educators like Gokul, Aathish, Merin, Pooja, and Siva Prasad.
Today, Geoid has grown into a strong learning community of over 500 students, supported by 20+ faculties and mentors. I remain deeply thankful to my students for their trust, and to the few genuine friends who believed in me and continue to celebrate this journey.
A quote that I have placed in front of my study table continues to guide me every day:
“Be consistent — whatever the situation is.”
I founded Geoid on October 1, 2024 — a time that marked one of the lowest phases of my life.
