Headquartered in Baghajatin, South Kolkata, with additional branches across various parts of the city, SHIVAS Creation has spent the last twenty-five years nurturing talent, building confidence, and inspiring thousands through the performing arts.
Established on 6th May, 2001, SHIVAS Creation started its journey with a simple yet powerful vision—to make dance accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for everyone. In its early years, the academy focused primarily on Bollywood Freestyle, a style that quickly became popular among students of all age groups. As the institution grew, so did its artistic horizons. Today, SHIVAS Creation proudly offers training in Bollywood, Kathak, Rabindrik, and Dance Beats—its unique homegrown fitness format often described as “our very own Desi Zumba.” This evolution reflects the academy’s constant desire to innovate while staying deeply connected to Indian culture and tradition.
Under the visionary leadership of Shiva Sir, SHIVAS Creation has transformed from a neighborhood dance academy into a vibrant cultural movement. Over the years, it has become a place where students not only learn dance but also discover discipline, creativity, self-confidence, teamwork, and the courage to dream bigger.

From small local performances to grand stage productions, SHIVAS Creation has proudly represented Kolkata and Eastern India through its energetic performances and innovative choreography. The academy has performed extensively across West Bengal and various parts of Eastern India, earning admiration from audiences and organizers alike for its professionalism and artistic excellence.

The organization has successfully trained, choreographed, coordinated, and managed numerous corporate events for prestigious organizations including Medica Hospitals, LIC, BOC, Godrej, and many others. Ricky, one of the earliest trainers associated with SHIVAS Creation, played a significant role in establishing a culture of enthusiasm, discipline, and excellence. Rai continued that tradition, inspiring students with professionalism and dedication.
Sneha brought warmth, patience, and encouragement to every classroom, helping students develop both skill and confidence. Nupur’s creativity and commitment enriched the learning experience, while Madhu’s positive energy motivated countless students to give their best. Ritu continues to uphold the values and standards that define SHIVAS Creation, serving as a mentor, guide, and inspiration to many aspiring performers.
Adding to this distinguished team is Kamalika, who recently joined as the Kids Batch Trainer. Her enthusiasm, nurturing approach, and ability to connect with young learners have already made her an invaluable part of the SHIVAS family.
No story of SHIVAS Creation would be complete without mentioning Neyon—the institution’s oldest student and one of its most inspirational trainers. Having grown alongside the academy itself, Neyon’s journey reflects the very spirit of SHIVAS Creation. From a passionate student to a respected mentor, performer, and trainer, he embodies the dedication, perseverance, and love for dance that the institution strives to instill in every student.
As SHIVAS Creation celebrates its Silver Jubilee, it celebrates far more than twenty-five years of existence.
