A Foundation in Thoughtful Service

Before beginning his own hospitality ventures, Suniel gained valuable experience with Mercury Car Rentals Limited, operating under the Avis brand and associated with The Oberoi Group. Working closely with high-end hotels gave him an understanding of the discipline, coordination and attention to detail behind quality guest service.

This exposure helped him appreciate how thoughtful service can influence an entire travel experience. A timely response, a smooth arrival or assistance offered at the right moment can leave a lasting impression. These lessons encouraged him to pursue his own journey in hospitality, combining professional standards with a more personal approach to hosting.

His entrepreneurial experience includes opening a hotel in Mussoorie, followed by hospitality ventures in Goa from 2017 onwards. Each stage brought practical lessons in managing a property, building a team and responding to the expectations of different guests.

Finding a Home in Goa

Suniel began his Goa journey around a decade ago. Over time, the state became both his business base and a place with which he developed a personal connection. Its coastal beauty, welcoming communities and mix of vibrant experiences and quiet corners continue to inspire him.

In 2024, he launched Respira Villaas, bringing together his experience and his vision for a comfortable, welcoming retreat. The idea was to offer guests the freedom and space of a villa stay, supported by the convenience and attentive service associated with a professionally managed property.
